I have painted this picture in January 2013. This is an image of the aftermath of a catastrophic disaster, only the barren twiggy dark branches in the devasted forest, muddy water could be seen, silence overburded everywhere. Still somewhere, there is a streak of colour, not yet clear, but its existance is a hope. This image reflects my thoughts of the earthquake in Japan. Only Ivory balck and Tatanium white ( opaque white) of Holbein Artists' water colours were used except a little of red and green.
